Mom J’s Cookbook has undergone many metamorphoses over the years. This current iteration is focused on recipes suitable for my use as a diabetic with a Seventh-day Adventist background. That way, when I am too old and infirm to cook for myself, my caregiver(s) will know what to feed me! In the meantime, when I forget how to make something I’ve made a thousand times before, or if I want to share a recipe with someone else, I will have an online reference.

Most of the recipes are low-carb, high-fat, moderate-protein, because that’s what has worked best for me to keep my weight and my blood glucose under control. Recipes that are not low-carb are, at least, ADA-compliant.
